Andrew Garfield Is Heartbroken On The Realities Of Corporate America After 'The Amazing Spider-Man'

Recently, actor Andrew Garfield discussed what he went through as the web-slinging hero, in which he played the role of Peter Parker in "The Amazing Spider-Man" and its sequel. He said that the movie left him a bit heartbroken.

In an interview with Amy Adams of Variety in its Actors on Actors segment, Garfield expressed his distress on the ill-fated truth of corporate America, which he said that he struggled to accomplish the story and character of "The Amazing Spider-Man" justice. "I was still young enough to struggle with the value system, I suppose, of corporate America really, it's a corporate enterprise mostly," he said.

According to IGN, Garfield also said that he realized that serving the story and character of "The Amazing Spider-Man" are not the number one concern after he worked on both films noting that he found it difficult after signing up for the remarkable character, which he'd been dressing up since he was little getting compromised. "I found that really, really tricky. I signed up to serve the story and to serve this incredible character that I've been dressing as since I was three and then it gets compromised and it breaks your heart," he lamented.

Actor Tom Holland has been the new face of Peter Parker on "The Amazing Spider-Man". Garfield said that he's delighted with the casting selection of Holland and added that he is thrilled to be a fan again.

Born in Los Angeles and raised in Epsom, Surrey, Andrew Russell Garfield is an American-British actor that started his career on the UK stage and in television productions. He started dating Emma Stone in 2011 whom he had a great chemistry with, which made her the great choice as his love interest in "The Amazing Spider-Man."

Garfield earned positive response for his role in "The Amazing Spider-Man," which he described as a huge challenge in many ways. He added that Peter Parker is someone he can relate to.
