The resale price of Nintendo NES Classic has gone up to thousands of dollars as a result of Low supply and high demand. In online platforms like Amazon, eBay, and Craiglist NES mini is selling at sky high price.

The nostalgia-laced mini console sold out immediately when it became available on Veterans Day. NES Classic sold in every 18 seconds in eBay on the launch day. The average eBay price on that day was $230 which was 4 times higher than its retail price ($60), reported Mic Network. One of the NES Mini, Listed in eBay priced $4,900. The online seller was offering overnight shipping but the price was still an exorbitant one. Another one was listed for over $88,000.

The market price inflation of Nintendo NES Classic resulted as Best Buy, Target, Walmart and Gamestop declined to take preorders for it. This forced the nostalgic gamers to depend on brick-and -mortar shops, reported Ars Technica.

A YouTube User AlphaOmegaSin criticized reseller for alluring buyers for paying more than what actually should be the price of an NES and a stack of games. The YouTuber also advised buyers to wait till the next stock is available in the market instead of buying it at such an exorbitant price. Ars Technica Reporters also found that many such shops had only six units and they had to send back the customers.

Nintendo confirmed that there will be a steady flow of NES Classic throughout the holiday season. So now the game enthusiasts must keep an eye on online sellers like Amazon and Best Buy for new stock in the coming weeks.

Though Nintendo NES Classic is this year's hottest gadget, pay only $60 and never go for  a 3 digit or 5 digit range to buy it. Enthusiastic buyers just need to have some patience and wait as it will soon be available in the market.
