‘Diablo 3: Rise Of The Necromancer’ DLC Release Date, News & Update: Extras That Come With 2017 DLC; ‘Diablo 4’ Launch Follows?

The fate of "Diablo 4" is still unknown but with the confirmation of the "Diablo 3: Rise of the Necromancer" DLC, fans are excited nevertheless. The upcoming "Diablo 3" DLC reintroduces the classic Necromancer class, which became popular in "Diablo 2."

"Diablo 3: Rise of the Necromancer" DLC has been confirmed to release sometime in 2017 and it brings other perks in the game. The DLC not only unlocks the Necromancer class but also grants players an in-game pet, additional stash tabs for PC players, two more character slots, banner and banner sigil, pennant and a portrait frame.

Blizzard has already confirmed that although the upcoming hero class in "Diablo 3: Rise of the Necromancer" DLC is a reimagining, not all of the Necromancer's skills from "Diablo 2" will be carried over to the 2017 DLC. The new "Diablo 3" Necromancer 2017 has been given a tweak so it will be unique class that all players can enjoy handling.

The hero class in "Diablo 3: Rise of the Necromancer" DLC has the Corpse Explosion ability. Besides that, players can also use Bone Spear, Siphon Blood, Summon Skeletons and Blood Rush. Blizzard also confirmed that the hero class will have a full set of legendary and other set items specifically forged for it .Other abilities, skills and set items for the 2017 Diablo Necromancer remain under wraps but Blizzard will give details once the DLC is nearing its release.

As for the release date, Blizzard has made it clear that the team is still finalizing the details but fans can expect the new "Diablo 3: Rise of the Necromancer" DLC in 2017. It should be noted that players will need to have "Diablo III" and "Reaper of Souls" expansion to be able to play the Necromancer on PC. For console versions, the "Ultimate Evil Edition" should be in place.

As for "Diablo 4," Blizzard hasn't confirmed anything about the title but there have been rumors suggesting that this new game should be out once "Diablo 3: Rise of the Necromancer" DLC becomes available. Stay tuned for more updates here on GamenGuide.
