‘Sister Wives’ Season 7 Latest Spoilers, News & Update: Meri’s Catfish Controversy Is Not Over; More Drama Is Expected From This Season

"Sister Wives" Season 7 is back on TLC for another round of dramatic episodes chronicling the lives of the polygamous Brown family. The premiere episode dropped on Nov. 27 and from the looks of it, the Browns are not done dealing with Meri Brown's catfish scandal.

It can be recalled that Meri Brown was caught in a catfish controversy last year and in the previous season, the series touched on it a bit. Kody Brown's first legal wife admitted that she had an affair with someone she'd met only online. All along, Meri thought that she's talking and flirting with a man online, but it turns out to be a woman. Apparently, the Brown family has not put this issue aside as seen in the pilot episode of "Sister Wives" Season 7.

In the season premiere of "Sister Wives" Season 7, it was obvious that Kody Brown and Meri's relationship hasn't been fixed, but he has other things to pay attention to, like Mariah, Meri and Kody's daughter, who is not in good terms with her mother. The Brown family is also busy with Madison's upcoming wedding to fiancé Caleb Brush.

Kody Brown and Janelle's daughter is getting ready to say "I do" but initially, the Brown patriarch didn't like the theme that Madison chose for her wedding, which was Bohemian. This turned out confusing for Kody in the "Sister Wives" Season 7 Dec. 4 episode, as he didn't get a clear grasp of what Bohemian is, but this was ironed out eventually. Photos of a pregnant Madison recently surfaced online, confirming that the Browns will finally have their first grandchild.

Meanwhile, "Sister Wives" Season 7 is expected to reveal more drama behind Meri's catfish controversy. Season 7 could go deeper into this part of the Brown family's story. Rumor also has it that the new season will tackle on different issues within the family, including the sister wives' relationship with each other, which is said to have been strained. "Sister Wives" airs on Sundays, 8 p.m. ET on TLC.
