'Attack on Titan' Season 2 Release Date, News & Update: Anime Returning in February 2017?

The long wait for "Attack on Titan" season 2 will soon be over as the anime series will finally return in February 2017. The production for the highly anticipated show is expected to be over soon. Recent reports reveal that the highly anticipated show will return to the small screen early next year.

There had been claims that "Attack on Titan" season 2 will come out in March 2017. But it seems like the creators of the show heard the request of fans. Hiroyuki Sawano, who is the one tasked to work on the soundtrack of the anime series has hinted that he is already working on new tracks for the upcoming season.

The Japanese composer will be working on a new set of theme songs for "Attack on Titan" season 2 in the coming months, according to Crunchyroll. There will be changes in the storyline so there must be new tracks that would fit the story.

Meanwhile, more mysteries are expected to be revealed in "Attack on Titan" season 2. GamenGuide has earlier reported that the soldiers will discover more titans hiding within the walls. The warriors will have to fight the man-eating monsters again to protect the people.

Fans might also know more about the ability of Eren including Mikasa and Armin in "Attack on Titan" season 2. The young titan shifter still has to go back to their old house to check some important documents. He is to discover the secret that his father had been hiding from them. In the manga version, Eren will learn that he actually has an older brother because his father had a family before them.

Surprisingly, his brother Zeke is also a titan shifter like him. However, the two are not in agreement with each other. The older Yeager desires something that his brother has. He wants to get it no matter what so he can be the strongest titan and no one would be able to defeat him in "Attack on Titan."
