‘Pokemon Sun And Moon’ Latest News & Update: Pokemon Catching Tips To Capture Female Salandit To Evolve Into Salazzle

"Pokemon Sun and Moon" has an extensive Pokedex that includes one of the strongest Poison and Fire type Pokemon, the Salazzle. Some Nintendo 3DS players may have a hard time finding a Salandit to evolve into the said creature, however, here are a few Pokemon catching tips for avid gamers.

The Nintendo 3DS game's new Alolan region boast of over 800 unique Pokemon creatures such as the beloved Pikachu, Ultra Beasts and Legendary Pokemons. Capturing and evolving all these creatures will take time and effort although getting a Salazzle may be a challenging task for many "Pokemon Sun and Moon" gamers.

With Salazzle only evolving from a female Salandit, gaming tips posted on USGamer identified several ways that a player can get the hard-to-find Pokemon. Gamers will even need several Pokemon creatures to increase the chances of finding a female Salandit.

"Pokemon Sun and Moon" players should first find and capture a male Eevee. Many of the said Pokemon creatures can be found on Route 4 around the grassy area outside of Heahea City. Gamers should then evolve a male Eevee into a Sylveon by raising the creature's heart level through the Nintendo 3DS game's Pokemon Refresh feature.

Feeding the male Eevee two Rainbow Beans or regular beans can raise a Pokemon's heart level at a faster pace. Petting the creature through Pokemon Refresh will also increase its heart points.

After the male Eevee has transformed into a Slyveon and learns the Cute Charm ability, "Pokemon Sun and Moon" players should set the said creature to lead a Pokemon team. Given its unique ability and team leadership status, the Slyveon will have a higher chance of attracting Pokemon monsters of the opposite gender.

Nintendo 3DS gamers can then look for a female Salandit in two "Pokemon Sun and Moon" in-game locations, namely on Route 8 and at the base of Wela Volcano Park. Another Pokemon catching tip is to have one creature who knows the Hold Back or False Swipe moves to avoid killing the female Salandit during battle. Once captured, "Pokemon Sun and Moon" gamers should level up the female Salandit to level 33 so that it can evolve into a Salazzle.

Meanwhile, the latest addition to the "Pokemon" Nintendo 3DS gaming franchise broke previous Nintendo game launch sale records in the U.K., according to Eurogamer. During the game's first week on the market, more than 368,000 "Pokemon Sun and Moon" titles were sold in the U.K.

"Pokemon Sun and Moon" was released on Nov. 18. Learn more about the Pokemon creature Salandit in the clip below:
