Inno3D's iChill Black Model NVIDIA's GeForce GTX 1060 Gets Hybrid Cooling on

The lineup of video cards has been expanded by Inno3D. The manufacturer takes the lead from the GeForce GTX 1060 graphics processor of NVIDIA which features a hybrid cooling system made of a closed loop liquid cooler. A factory overclocked GPU is added to the graphics card while there is an overclocking potential is warranted to the advanced cooler that will be suited for those who want to make the most out of a GP106.

The Inno3D iChill GeForce GTX 1060 Black is made with a proprietary custom design and built upon a PCB. However, it is longer than the reference design of NVIDIA. Its pre-installed Arctic Accelero Hybrid S AIO cooling system comes with a fan featuring a 120-mm heat exchanger.

The GP106 GPU could run at 1569/1784 MHz which means that it is a bit higher compared to the reference cards of NVIDIA. But, the GP106 GPU is in line with other factory-overclocked boards of Inno3D based on the same processor.

According to Hot Hardware, the GP106 3 GB cards are based on Pascal GP104 GPU. However, the said card has a running memory of 6 GB with five display outputs. The card also requires a PCIe power connector having 8-pin auxiliary as for power.

GeForce GTX 1060 graphics processor of NVIDIA is prominent not just among video cards makers, but as well as end users. According to Anandtech, more than four graphics cards are usually possessed by large suppliers of AIB based on the lineup of the GP106.

Nonetheless, the first company to provide GeForce GTX 1060 with a liquid cooling system and hybrid air is Inno3d. Since GeForce GTX 1060 is said to be a good overclocker, frequencies of the processor can be increased by 200 MHz using NVIDIA's own cooler.

On the other hand, if it has already a more advanced air cooler, then the processor could run higher than the clock rate. There is still no suggested price for the iChill GeForce GTX 1060 Black graphics card by Inno3D, but there is a speculation that it will cost around $249.
