WWE Rumors: Ronda Rousey appearance at WrestleMania 33 confirmed? Stephanie McMahon gives another hint

Ronda Rousey will make her return to the Octagon at UFC 207 on December 30 but she has hinted that her MMA career is coming to a close. There are a lot of rumors stating that she will sign with the WWE and she is going to appear at WrestleMania 33.

"Rowdy" is a known wrestling fan and her nickname was borrowed from the late WWE Hall of Famer Roddy Piper. She has also watched several live events and pay-per-views in the past. But to top it all off, she appeared in a segment with The Rock at WrestleMania 31 last year to confront The Authority.

There were even plans for Rousey to have a match at this year's WrestleMania but it was canceled. She was suffering from depression after her loss to Holly Holm. Also, she had to film a movie that conflicted with the event.

Nevertheless, the former UFC bantamweight champion is very interested in signing with the WWE. She will likely become a part-time superstar and become the female counterpart for Brock Lesnar. She has the drawing ability that would make Vince McMahon even richer.

In a recent appearance on Fortune's Most Powerful Women Next Gen Summit (h/t SFGate), Stephanie McMahon teased the signing of Ronda Rousey. She said that they would "love to have her" which makes an appearance at WrestleMania 33 possible.

According to WrestlingNews.co, the WWE has a very legitimate chance of signing Rousey. The report pointed out that it would be an easier deal to negotiate if the UFC is out of the way. However, there seems to be a deal between the two companies since the WWE let Brock Lesnar fight at UFC 200 in July.

Ronda Rousey will challenge Amanda Nunes for the UFC bantamweight championship at UFC 207 on December 30 in Las Vegas, Nevada. It is her first fight since suffering her first career loss at the hands of Holly Holm last year at UFC 193.
