'Star Wars: Battlefront' Latest News and Update: EA is Aware of the Negative Feedback, no New Updates, but New Sequel Revealed

"Star Wars: Battlefront" gains a lot of negative comments from fans. The game has no single player campaign and it comes to the knowledge of EA.

There is a lack of depth in "Star Wars: Battlefront" according to Gamespot. The VP of investor relations of EA Chris Evenden discussed on an investor event that the developers of "Star Wars: Battlefront" are already aware of the negative feedback.

However, he does not specify if they are working to make "Star Wars: Battlefront" better. Chris Evenden announced in Barclays Global Technology, Media and Telecommunications that the developers certainly heard the issues.

Meanwhile, "Star Wars: Battlefront" still shipped 14 million copies or perhaps more. Actually, "Star Wars: Battlefront" is considered to be the best-performing "Star Wars" games. But, it needs to improve the game and fix the issues.

EA revealed that there will be a follow up sequel which will be bigger than the first game. DICE the creator of the first game confirmed that it is working on the sequel with Motive Studios. However, there are still no enough details about some parts of the game and what exactly they are working on.

Blake Jorgensen EA CFO confessed and accepted the fact that "Star Wars: Battlefront" is lacking a depth for hardcore players this year. But, he explained that it is for the benefit of the players as it is designed to be more accessible to them.

Patrick Soderlund EA Studios boss said that he was also aware that the company is criticized by fans because it is lacking a single player campaign. "Star Wars: Battlefront" will be available to EA access and Origin access members for free starting Dec. 13, 2016 according to IGN.

EA confirms through its official twitter account that the game will be joining The Vault. The game was launched in Nov. 15, 2016 on  Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
