Radeon Software News & Update: AMD Unleashed Their Newest Software Update; Crimson ReLive Edition As AMD’s Biggest Software Released?

After the released of Catalyst Omega (2014) and Crimson Edition (2015), Radeon Software update of AMD brought another edition that will give various advantages to video editors, average gamers, and streamers. And that's the Crimson ReLive Edition.

Last Thursday, Dec.8, AMD manufacturer released the Crimson ReLive Edition that provides minimal performance from Crimson 16.6.2 driver suite. The company stated that the new software will provide an increase of eight percent to the performance of these games: "Overwatch" (six percent), "Ashes of the Singularity" (seven percent), "Shadow Motor" (seven percent), "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided" (four percent), and "Batman Arkham Knight (seven percent).

In addition, Crimson ReLive Edition had replaced the old AMD Gaming Evolved app. It also brings in-app toolbar to the game that allows you to Twitch, record, stream to YouTube or even taking screenshots of the game while you are playing. Not only that, Crimson ReLive Edition has a direct replay feature app up to one hour.

Crimson ReLive Edition includes the brand new installer that allows the user to identify if the previous version has been installed. This new software gives an update to AMD Freesync in which the users can now run borderless fullscreen window if it is enabled. Crimson ReLive Edition has added Dolby Vision and HDR 10 supports for better use of brightness, contrast, and color for the gaming purposes.

One of the useful features of Crimson ReLive Edition is the new Radeon Chill that makes the AMD's hardware to cool down in which, must be enabled in the Wattman section of the Radeon Settings app. Radeon Chill uses to scale down of your graphics card's GPU usage and to avoid unnecessary high frame rates to lessen the load on your GPU. When turned on, the Radeon graphic chip only consumes up to 31 percent less power and up to 13 percent cooler in Celsius.
