Atlanta Hawks vs. Milwaukee Bucks: Results, Highlights, Player of the Game

Dennis Schroder dropped 33 points and Paul Millsap chipped in 23 as the Atlanta Hawks overcame a 20-point halftime deficit to eke out a 112-110 win over the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday at Bradley Center.

Key Point of the Match:

After a lousy first half of play, the Hawks exploded for 40 points in the third quarter and then followed it up with a 30-point effort in the fourth to complete their comeback against the Bucks. Tim Hardaway drained a three-point shot with 36 seconds left on the clock to seal the win for good.

Players of the Match:

Schroder's 33 point performance was his career-high. Millsap, meanwhile, continued to fill in the stats sheet by adding 14 rebounds, 6 assists and 3 blocks. Milwaukee leaned on Jabarri Parker, who finished with 27 points on 11-for-24 points, while budding star Giannis Antetokounmpo recorded just 15 points on 5-for-12 shooting.

Aftermath:

The Hawks are now at .500 with a 12-12 record. After dropping seven consecutive games, Atlanta recorded their first back-to-back wins since Nov. 17, ironically against the Bucks. They will have a four-day layoff before facing the Orlando Magic on Wednesday. Milwaukee, on other hand, dropped to 11-10 and 8-6 at home. Up next for the Bucks are the Washington Wizards this Saturday.
