'Justice League 2' Release Date, News & Update: Zack Snyder Busy With Other Film, Sequel Moved Further; More DC Flicks Coming Revealed

"Justice League 2" may be quite the shot to be looking forward to, but even with the first film being months away, there may already be some drama lurking around the title. Moreover, the same can be said for the rest of the DC films that are to be made.

As some may know, Ben Affleck showed the world what he is made off by becoming the Caped Crusader in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice." After his appraised performance, the actor was then given his standalone film which is set to grace the industry once more-prior to that, however, is the "Justice League" movie. Sadly, the already slated "Justice League 2" may be on the receiving end of that predicament.

According to a recent report, a calendar has finally been laid out for the DC films in the coming years, which includes "The Batman" and the early-labelled continuity, "Justice League 2." However, a new revelation stated that the continuing director Zack Snyder will be setting aside the latter due to his focus on "The Last Photograph," a war-bound movie to come in a few years. It was confirmed that "Justice League" will air late next year, but as for the continuity, it may take two years more.

An unnamed DC film was originally scheduled past "Justice League 2," which many believe to be "The Batman." After the alleged delay, it could mean that the two films are trading places and Ben Affleck's solo flick will air earlier. This is still mere speculation at this point, and other movies can still be withheld accordingly such as "Wonder Woman" on June 2 next year, "Aquaman" on October 5, 2018 and even the intriguing "Shazam" by April 5, 2019.

For the time being, "Justice League 2" may be the least of the DC fans' worries, as the hyped up "Justice League" could prove to be more than enough momentum-gainer. What do you think of DC's plans for their cinematic universe?
