2018 Mercedes E-Class Coupe Release Date, Latest News & Update: Dashing Yet Classy Design Unveiled; More Exciting Features Spilled!

Another luxurious car is on its way as the Mercedes-Benz company introduced their newest car model, the 2018 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe. It has an elegant style with two doors which are similar with previous coupe models, S-Class and C-Class.

2018 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe was characterized with bullet-shaped headlights, bumper's large air vents, and large three-pointed star emblem. It's the newest two-door car of Mercedes-Benz after releasing the same rear-end and silhouettes designs from S-Class and C-Class coupe models.

It may look the same on the outside, but its interior design was another story. Like the E-Class Sedan, Mercedes-Benz E-Class coupe has a 12.3-inch high-resolution screen with infotainment system display. However, the luxurious car differs from sedan when the single screen replaced with gauge cluster being its standard equipment. The E-Class coupe has also active brake assist and semi-autonomous Distance Pilot Distronic with up to 130 mph speed.

Though 2018 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe was only designed with two-doors, the engineers did an excellent job. They were able to make the car longer, taller and wider, which helps provide comfortable spaces for four adults in individual seats. Sedan and E-Class Coupe have the same features when it comes to steering wheel touch-type controls. In addition, owners will able to choose between 64 different ambient lighting colors.

Unlike in Sedan that starts with four-banger E300 lineup, E-Class coupe is set at the E400 level having twin-turbocharged and 3.0-liter V6 engine. It is good for 329 horsepower with 5,250 up to 6,000 rpm, and 354 pound-feet of torque from 3,500 to 5,250 rpm. Nine-speed automatic will only be available for transmission in either rear or all-wheel drive.

When it comes to quality technology, 2018 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe will not be left behind. The coupe has an Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Not only that, it has so-called Magic Vision Control in which the wiper fluid nozzles moves to the wiper arm smoothly.

With its amazing specs and features, there's no doubt the E-Class Coupe could be the next big thing for the car enthusiasts and anyone wanting to own luxurious cars. The 2018 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe will have its official unveiling at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit in Jan. 9, 2017. The price for the car is yet to be announced.
