‘Rick and Morty’ Season 3 Air Date, Spoilers, News & Update: Series To Premiere This Christmas? Dan Harmon Shuts Fans Down

"Rick and Morty" season 3 has been a long wait and fans are starting to get impatient already especially since it's already December and there is still no word on what date the adult animated science fiction sitcom will return to Adult Swim. Fans may have been told by Mr. Poopy Butthole in "Rick and Morty" season 2 finale that the show will come back for its third installment after one year and a half but that has all changed when "Rick and Morty" creators Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland revealed that season 3 will roll before 2016 ends. However, there is still no sign, no teaser, no promo so fans decided to confront Roiland and Harmon via Twitter.

In a Twitter post by Roiland, he wrote: "Nobody ever asks me when season three is coming. I've never been asked even once. I guess everybody is just patiently waiting?" This was his response to all the fans suddenly asking him on the release date of "Rick and Morty." Roiland answered his fans like his character Morty but Harmon answered like Rick-sarcastic and pissed off.

Instead of giving a concrete answer, Harmon shut down some trolls via his Twitter account. He told them that they should really be telling him to get back to work when he is not tweeting because by then he is just drinking. He then posted a series of tweets telling everyone a "list of ideal times" to tell him what to do. It was all just sarcasm though as he put in number one "never." There's still no definite "Rick and Morty" season 3 air date but an Instagram post may have hinted it.

Fans are now assuming that "Rick and Morty" season 3 will air on Christmas day basing on the photo which showed a snow-filled neighborhood with Christmas decors and Santa Claus and a reindeer. What do you think? Will the series air soon?
