It looks like a new rumor is about to take over General Hospital as fan favorite, Morgan is set for a return. Morgan was presumed dead in General Hospital but actor Bryan Craig's recent tweets suggest a return might happen.
Morgan was last seen in his car which exploded and led to his supposed death. But upon examining the scene, the body of Morgan wasn't found which lead viewers to assume that Morgan might have survived the explosion. With no body found, General Hospital can always have the option of bringing Morgan back if they please. Otherwise, Morgan can still remain dead and the plot still holds. But anything can happen in soap operas so there's a good chance Morgan would appear sometime in the future. Nonetheless, fans were bummed that Morgan was killed off the show and was soon hoping for a comeback that still hasn't happened to this day.
What made the return of Morgan in General Hospital more interesting is Bryan Craig's tweets. "People need to calm haha. I'll come through again and pick up right where I left off..." said Bryan Craig. The caused a lot of General Hospital fans wishing for Morgan's return to the show. But the next day, in response to the fans, Bryan Craig said the fans shouldn't get ahead of themselves.
However, there is also a chance that this all just a publicity stunt for Bryan Craig. Bryan Craig left General Hospital to pursue other options for his acting career. The tweet might have been used to promote his upcoming projects. Fellow General Hospital alum Vanessa Marcil also used the same tactic to promote her non soap project. Bryan Craig might have used the same method to take advantage of the popularity of Morgan in General Hospital.
If Bryan Craig is indeed toying with the fans, General Hospital still has other options for Morgan. One of the first rumors for Morgan's return was casting the character with a different actor. The problem with that however is that fans might not like the new actor playing the part. It is a risky move for the actor and the show and could entirely ruin the character if not done right. Bryan Craig is still the best option for Morgan if General Hospital chooses to bring the character back.
