Andrew Lincoln Said The Fans Won't Be Disappointed With ‘The Walking Dead’ Season 7 Next Year, Know The Reason Behind His Claim

The ratings of "The Walking Dead" Season 7 has been declining compared to the previous year. The season 7 has not had an easy ride this year and fans are criticizing Rick and his Alexandrian gang.

One of the reasons behind the decline of the rating is believed to be the series' extreme violent opening. The series even tried to revisit story-telling devices from previous seasons but it failed to entertain the viewers. However, next year "The walking Dead" Season 7 will be back with a bang. It seems the fans concerns have not gone unheeded and Andrew Lincoln has promised that next year fans will have an "exact opposite" experience.

Andrew Lincoln in his interview with Hollywood Reporters said that next year "The Walking Dead" will bring plenty to look forward. The fans who have not like the Season 7 so far will also change their mind.

"Obviously I've heard that people are not happy and that makes me unhappy because of the amount of work we all put into the show," Andrew Lincoln told The Wrap. He added that he had complete faith in Scott, producers of the show and the writing team. He also assured that the second half of the Season 7 will be the exact opposite of first half.

Fans have noticed that in the first half of "The Walking Dead" Season 7 Andrew Lincoln (Rick) is very inactive. But his latest interviews are hinting that he has returned to his old self.

"We spent a lot of time in first half of the season world building and now it almost feels like a very familiar show again", Lincoln told The Hollywood Reporters. He added that the second half will be totally opposite to that.

Andrew Lincoln also called the season 7 a dynamic one and compared the first half with Magnificent Seven or the Magnificent Eight. The first 8 episodes were all about forging relationships and getting all communities in order. However, the gang will need guns very soon, Lincoln noted. Seeing Andrew Lincoln's zeal, we can definitely hope for a better second half of "The Walking Dead" Season 7.
