‘Bates Motel’ Season 5 Air Date, Spoilers, News & Update: Aside From Rihanna’s Marion Crane, Who Else Will Norman’s Victim? Plot Details

As the "Bates Motel" Season 5 release date inches closer, speculations among fans regarding what surprises the upcoming season could bring have multiplied as well. One of the most popular topics of speculation centers on which characters, aside from Marion Crane to be played Rihanna, will be in danger as Norman begins his descent into madness with the arrival of the "Bates Motel" Season 5 premiere.

Rihanna Character Marion Crane Definitely A Goner

Of course fans of both Alfred Hitchcock's original film "Psycho" as well as of its small screen modern-day counterpart all agree that the upcoming "Bates Motel" Season 5 character Marion Crane is already marked for a chilling ending. Marion, which will be played by actress, singer and songwriter Rihanna, was killed by Bates in the original film in one of the most iconic shower scenes of the horror genre.

What remains to be seen is how Rihanna's character will die and in what episode it may happen. There are those who speculate that Marion's scene might happen in the "Bates Motel" Season 5 premiere but others suggest that the first episode might be too early to introduce such an important scene, which is seen as a bridge between the television series and its big screen counterpart.

Will Romero Die By Norman's Hands?

There are also those who speculate that one of the "Bates Motel" Season 5 characters that could fall victim to Norman's killing spree might be Chief Romero. Season 4's finale hints that Romero already had suspicions on Norman as far as his mother's death is concerned. As detailed in a previous GamenGuide report, it is highly likely that Romero will sniff around and, when he finally confronts Norman, it will inevitably end in his demise.

Dylan's Return To White Pine Bay Could Mean His Demise?

On the other hand, Dylan's return home has in the coming "Bates Motel" Season 5 has already been hinted at by Carlton Cuse, the series' executive producer. This led some to speculate further that Dylan would start snooping around on the circumstances surrounding his mother's death, which would in turn alarm Norman.

Many believe that the body bags are bound to increase with the arrival of "Bates Motel" Season 5 premiere. Aside from the character Rihanna will play next season, additions are possible given that the showrunners have some leeway on how to put to the small screen Norman's troubling but nevertheless interesting story.
