'Pokemon Go' News & Update: 'Pokemon Go' Not Cancele for Apple Watch & How to Catch New Pokemon

The latest "Pokemon Go" news and update suggest that the mobile game for Apple Watch is not actually canceled. This has been confirmed by a spokesperson for Niantic to Gamespot.

In a previous report, Niantic has been reported will not release "Pokemon Go" for the Apple Watch. This news came from 9to5Mac's source. According to its source, Niantic has "ceased development of Pokemon Go for Apple Watch." The "Pokemon Go" version for the Apple Watch shown was introduced during Apple's iPhone reveal event in September. The version was reported has an "unfinished port."

The plan for "Pokemon Go" version for Apple Watch were to display some information such how far a player need to walk to hatch eggs and how much more XP he needs to get to the next level. The version will also show the nearby Pokemon, however, "Pokemon Go" players still need their iPhone in capturing the virtual creature, Game Spot reports.

However, these second generation of pokemons are hard to find, according to IGN. Luckily, there is a way to get them.

For those who are currently hatching 2 km eggs, there is a chance to get Igglybuff (that evolves into Jigglypuff) or Cleffa (pre-evolution of Clefairy). For those who have 5 km eggs, they can get Pichy, pre-evolution of Pikachu or Togepi that evolves into Togetic. For those who have 10 km eggs, they can get either Smoochum (evolves into Jinx), Magby (evolves into Magmar), or Elekid (evolves into Electabuzz).
