‘Dishonored 2’ Release Date, News & Update: Everything You Need To Know About DLC, New Mode On PS4, Xbox One, PC

"Dishonored 2" players have reportedly started receiving new in-game content. All gaming platforms are expected to see a new mode that will combine the powers of the two protagonists in the game. The Dec. 19 update reportedly came with game fixes as well.

PC, PS4 and Xbox One console players of "Dishonored 2" have reportedly received the new free downloadable content. Moreover, the game reportedly added the New Game Plus mode as well. It has been noted that "Dishonored 2" is further slated to be one of the biggest hit game titles of 2016, Dailystar UK reported.

Previously, gamers reportedly need to switch between "Dishonored 2" Emily and Corvo. It should be noted that the new mode allows players to combine Emily's abilities and Corvo's powers for never-before-seen custom combos. Furthermore, note that the new mode may only be unlocked upon completion of "Dishonored 2" either as Emily or Corvo.

In addition, "Dishonored 2" reportedly features a option for hiding and unhiding items called the new quick-access wheel option. Several fixes to Bone charm effects and false-kill counts of Oraculum in Royal Conservatory have also been fixed. Several enhancements and fixes were reportedly made to Blood Thirst as well as the User Interface and Game Logic Issues that plague the game.

In other news, the New Game Plus reportedly bans players to replay "Dishonored 2" with the powers acquired from the first gameplay. Dishonored 2's New Game Plus mode lets you combine Emily's and Corvo's powers. Note that players may also opt to select Corvo Attano or Emily Kaldwin on the subsequent playthrough. In addition, it has been revealed that players may now choose from the protagonist's abilities by reassigning runes, Polygon reported.

"Dishonored 2" Creative director Harvey Smith reportedly noted that the new mode was added to the game in response of user feedback. Apparently, the gaming community wanted to make higher-powered characters. Furthermore, the custom difficulty settings was reportedly pushed back to January 2017 in Game Update 2.  Watch the New Game Plus Guide here:
