Xbox One vs PS4: Gamestop Drops Price of Titanfall Bundle in UK

Gamestop Drops Price of Titanfall Bundle in UK

GameStop UK is currently accepting preorders for the Xbox One Titanfall bundle for £370, or a full £30 below the bundle's £400 price point. That's on top of the £30 price cut that Microsoft just announced yesterday, which dropped the system to £400 from £430. That's easily the best deal ever available for the Xbox One anyone in the world and brings the price down within striking distance of the PS4. The battle is not yet won, Sony.

Revealed earlier this week, the Titanfall bundle will come with an Xbox One, Kinect, a standard wireless controller and headset, a digital copy of Titanfall, and a one month Xbox Live subscription. It's available around the world for the same price as the basic bundle- $500 in the U.S.

Titanfall Xbox One Pre-order Allows Download Before Game's Release Date, Pre-Load Now [UPDATE]

There's no word on a similar sale at any other Gamestop territories, sadly. The best deal that US Gamestops get is extra trade-in credit when you trade an old system or game torwards the purchase of a Titanfall bundle. Boo.

Considering how big of an issue the price difference has been for Microsoft, a sale like this in the UK could be the shot in the arm it needs to gain back some of the ground it's lost. Considering that the PS4 only costs £349.99 it's not a game-changer, but £370 with one of the most anticipated games of the year is certainly enough to change minds. Titanfall looks absolutely stunning and the buzz from the recent beta is nearly deafening.

The Titanfall Xbox One bundle will be available in North America alongside the game on March 11, followed by a March 14 release in Europe.
