"Final Fantasy" is celebrating its 30th anniversary next year and to mark the event, Square Enix revealed that plans have been laid out for the occasion. Fans are excited about the event but they want to know more about it as details have been scarce.

One of the things that were shared so far was that the "Final Fantasy 30th Anniversary Opening Ceremony" is going to be held on Jan. 31 at the Toho Cinema located in Roppongi Hills. Also, there will be special guests however, only a select few will be invited to attend the program.

Moreover, for fans who have Japanese Square Enix account, they have a chance of winning tickets to the opening ceremony. Interested members can join the raffle and 200 tickets are at stake.

The "Final Fantasy" 30th Anniversary event was officially announced via Square Enix's Japanese website. Now, since the game developer is not releasing additional information about the anniversary celebration, many speculations are going around like the guests were said to have been tapped to talk about the game's history.

Additionally, it was said that it is possible for Square Enix to unveil some projects that they intend to release soon. The game company may also take advantage of the "Final Fantasy" 30th-anniversary opening ceremony to announce new games or perhaps, something bigger than that.

Moving on, although only a few people can witness the actual "Final Fantasy" 30th-anniversary opening ceremony, fans worldwide can still witness the event and not be left out. Square Enix decided that the ceremonial event will be streamed live for the global audience.

Meanwhile, it is worth noting that "Final Fantasy 7" is also celebrating its 20th anniversary in January 2017. With that said, it is possible that Square Enix is also planning an activity that will tie the two occasions in one big celebratory event.
