Netflix Instant Pokemon: Pokemon "Black & White", "Indigo League", and Victini Movies Begin Streaming March 1

Two Pokemon Seasons and Movies Coming to Netflix

By way of Joystiq, it has been announced that Netflix's quest to catch 'em all (movies and television, that is), has not faltered as the Netflix Instant video streaming service will soon be adding two Pokemon movies and two seasons of the show to their catalog.

To start off, The Pokemon Company and Netflix will be adding a season of “Pokemon: Black & White” to instant streaming. Pokemon trainer and perpetual teenage Ash Ketchum explores the new region of Unova with friends Cilan and Iris. In Unova, Ash meets new gym leaders and new pokemon types. The city of Unova is based on New York City and is also the setting of the Nintendo DS game of the same name.

The very first season of the Pokemon anime, “Pokemon: Indigo League”, will also arrive alongside “Black & White”. In it, we can relive the moments when Ash's adventure began. If you grew up with the show (I'm not sure how anyone didn't), then now might be the time to take a trip down nostalgia lane.

On the Pokemon movie front, Netflix will also be streaming “Pokémon the Movie: Black-Victini and Reshiram” and “Pokémon the Movie: White-Victini and Zekrom”. I have no idea what I just wrote, but apparently the two movies are simply two versions of the same story with different plot developments and lead Pokemon.

Netflix subscribers will get this quadruple dose of Poke-goodness starting on March 1. Region availability is as follows: US, Canada, Latin America, the Nordics, the United Kingdom, Ireland, and the Netherlands.
