"Game of Thrones" is insanely popular right now, with the fantastic HBO TV series coming into its fourth season. The production values are very high, the acting is generally great, and the plot is enthralling, exciting, complex, and wicked. If you haven't seen it, you should watch the show, pure and simple, even if medieval-type settings aren't your thing. There's some fantasy involved, but it's not exactly your "Lord of the Rings" style affair.
If you watch the show or read the books its based on, "A Song of Ice and Fire" by George R.R. Martin, you know all of this already. If you don't, hopefully I've piqued your interest enough to give it a try, although if you haven't by now, given the hype surrounding it, I'm not sure there's much I can do.
Either way, no matter which of those two groups you belong to, you should watch the fan-made trailer below, because it's really good--better than the official ones, in my opinion. It's uploaded by a user called Lady Dog Trailers, who I'm confident is the creator as they posted it to Reddit with the same account name. Other fans and I appreciate it very much!
Game of Thrones Funko 'Legacy' Figures Released
The video takes preview clips we've seen and uses narration from other trailers to piece together an awesome teaser, complete with Lorde's cover of Tears for Fears' "Everybody Wants to Rule the World", which she made for the last "Hunger Games" movie. It's really well done, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Season Four of Game of Thrones premiers Sunday, April 6 on HBO.
