‘Overwatch’ new patch 1.7, What Changes Are Coming?

“Overwatch” was one of the major hits of last year and it still gaining fame and popularity. No matter how good an MMO is, there always are fixes, updates and balance reworks needed, so here are the latest changes.

PC Games Network shares that with the newest patch there will come changes towards a few characters. One of them is the charming mecha-operator D.Va, who will get her damage and shield lowered. This comes since Blizzard’s development team has noticed that the character has highly successful dive, engage and survivability. By nerfing some of her stats, they plan on bringing more blanace to the character roster.

Game Rant reports on further changes coming to the characters in “Overwatch”. Finally, Roadhog will get a well-deserved nerf on his hook. This character’s problematic pull skill has plagued players of the games since its very launch. The hook was capable of pulling players through walls, creating quite the menace for the opposing team. The way his hook works will receive a significant change which is expected to fix some of the problems with balancing the game. Another over productive character to get nerfed will be Ana.
The sniper character has shown to be quite the potent healer, which has more than once tipped the scales of battle. By reducing her healing power, Blizzard’s dev team hopes to even out the odds on the field.

For those of you who would like to join the public testing realm of ‘Overwatch’, Blizzard has shared a detailed explanation on how to join. It is an easy five step process which will allow you to take part in the newest changes that are coming with the game. Sadly for console players, the PTR is available only on PC, since there is much of a hassle and certification issues to work around when it comes to the XBOX and PS4 versions of the game which are hosted on the console holder’s private servers and not the ones of Blizzard. “Overwatch” is available on PC, PS4 and XBOX One.
