‘Fallout 4’ Mod Uses Invisible Cats To Run Radio Station

Ever felt stalked while exploring the endless wasteland of Boston? Ever felt invisible eyes following you and as you turn, poof, they are gone? Ever heard a silent meowing, as you switch to the next station?

These questions may seem, on the least, odd, but there is a good reason for asking them. Kotaku sahres the news of a “Fallout 4” mod available for download which will do this exact thing to you. You will never be alone, as you will constantly be stalked by an invisible feline. The modification at question is named “Old World Radio: Boston” and is an audio patch with compilation of the greatest hits of the 40’s and 50’s delivered through additional in-game stations. So, where are the cats? There were cats in the 40’s and 50’s music, but it was just a slang. Well there are some news for you.

GameRant reveals the mechanics working behind the mod. The mod creators instantiate an invisible cat every time that the radio station is changed. Your new invisible companion serves as a settlement radio station, playing out the greatest hits of the past century, while keeping all other stations properly running.
So, if you have ever downloaded this mod and you have felt stalked by the tiny paws of a friendly cat, here is your answer. Also, there is a small chance of receiving a bug which will endlessly spawn cats around you, until you get the radio stations running.

If you are interested in discovering a fun mod of your own, or spicing up your game experience, then you can check out one of the many mdodding communities out there on the internet. Among the biggest communities are ModDb and NexusMod, both of which offer free, fully supported mods, a friendly community and good communication with the mod creators for further development. “Fallout 4” is available on PC, XBOX One and PS 4.
