'Pokémon GO' Gen 2 Gameplay: Kanto Region Pokemons Evolve To Occupy Johto Region

"Pokémon GO" players are currently busy as they are trying to lure and catch as many of the 80 Generation 2 creatures that was just released in the previous week. Game developer Niantic has recently announced that they have released 80 new creatures to their mobile augmented reality game.

The world is now filled with more Pokémon creatures than before, IGN reported. The latest batch of pocket monsters is from the Johto region that was first introduced on the "Pokémon Gold and Silver" Game Boy game back in 2000.

The studio has not released a complete list of the new Pokémon creatures, but it mentioned Chikorita, Cyndaquil and Totodile.  Gender-specific variations of select Pokemon can also be caught too. They will be joining Cleffa, Igglybuff, Magby and  Pichu, just to name a few, that were released last December.

Additionally, Pokémon creatures of the Kanto region will soon be able to evolve to occupy the Johto region.  Players can also expect that the new creatures will be reacting in differently when trying to catch them.  The team made it that way.

There will also be new Berries available to use when catching them.  Players can use the Nanab Berry to slow down these Pokémon, or give them the Pinap Berry to receive more Candy once they have been caught.

Along with the new 80 pocket monsters, "Pokémon GO" players will also be able to upgrade their avatar.  There is a new set to choose from right now.   There are also hats, shirts, pants and other new wardrobe to choose, according to BGR.

A new night-mode map was also added, plus to make encounters more artistic, an encounter music was included. Normal to any update, a small number of fixes were also implemented.  This includes Apple watch connection stability, minor display text fixes and various bug fixes.

"Pokémon GO" is available for Android and iOS devices. Watch the Pokémon Go expansion trailer:
