Bethesda's Todd Howard Confirms 7 Games Currently Being Developed

Some recent reports pointed out that Bethesda is currently developing three new major games. Surprisingly, Todd Howard revealed that the studio is working four more games, which makes it a total of seven titles in the works. Some of the games hinted at were a Nintendo Switch port of "Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim," an untitled mobile game and a VR-compatible version of "Fallout 4."

The game director apparently admitted that the developer is working on several more titles than the three they previously hinted at recently. IGN suspects that one of those major games in the pipeline might be Skyrim's successor "Elder Scrolls VI." Yet, Howard hinted that the two other major projects will be announced first, before they unveil the next "Elder Scrolls" game. The two titles are "bigger than anything we've done,' says the game director.

Among the seven games being currently being developed by Bethesda, Todd Howard was surprisingly open about the VR-enabled "Fallout 4." He reportedly wanted fans to know that the upgraded game will not have any elements added or removed. The game director was obviously proud of the game's development progress and said it was "pretty incredible." The exact release date was not revealed but it should be anytime this year, according to sources.

Players are reportedly interested on the new mobile game indicated by the game director. However, he was quite adamant about sharing any information about it as of now. He was also apparently confident that the company is capable of handling multiple projects. It was noted that the developer can work of several titles, he claims that their team relies on momentum to get projects completed, as reported by Game Rant.

Another recent report from Gamenguide talks about Bethesda's Todd Howard as he noted that there are still millions playing "Fallout 4" and "Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" daily. He suspects that these players might have renewed interest with the games due to the remastered version of "Skyrim" and recent updates with the "Fallout 4." It seems like fans continue to support the developer due to their capacity to inject great stories within open-world games.
