‘Nier: Automata’ Trailer: Plug-In Chip System Increases Skills, Damage Levels; Level 50 Unlock Guide Revealed

"Nier: Automata" gameplay trailer by Square Enix showcased an uninterrupted 30-minute action focusing on the RPG elements, and system requirements. The 17 pod skills, immersive questlines, plug-in chip system, as well as how the players could die and live in a post-apocalyptic world were also featured.

"Nier: Automata" Gameplay Mechanics

The game features a reliquary system to allow players to go back to the point where they were defeated to achieve additional buffs, Gematsu reported. The system is also advantageous in gaining an ally to help in the battle against machines.

Players, on the other hand, can use pods to program robots into doing a number of defensive and offensive skills, which includes hammers and lasers. When 3 pods are put to use all in one time, players can also recharge and become three times stronger.

The installation of chips into the players' android body, called Plug-in-chip, can allow players to increase the skills and damage levels. This, generally, will help them survive the enemies' attacks.

Other features include the Quest hub, where players can take on mini quests that are scattered all over the gameplay and the riding system, which allows players to ride wildlife creatures for quicker transport and defense.

"Nier: Automata" Level 50 Achievement

The gameplay suggests that players need to level up to defeat their enemies. While the enemies are able to scale the level  via 2B system, extra item progression and stats can also make farming easier.

The "Nier: Automata" level 50 can be easily achieved through, first and foremost, defeating Adam in the first boss fight, One Angry Gamer reported. Once taken down, the boss room will become a continuous machine spawn point. Players may then farm as much as they could because the machines will spawn indefinitely after each wave.

"Nier: Automata" PC version has no release date still. The trailer of the "Arsenal of Elegant Destruction", which was revealed in February, hinted that it will be out on March 10 via Steam. Watch NieR: Automata (2017) 15 minutes of Gameplay Video - PS4 [1080p] here:
