‘Mass Effect: Andromeda’ Demo Impressed Fans As Major Changes To Player Movement Seen; Strategy Guide Comes With Exclusive Collectibles, DLC

"Mass Effect: Andromeda" was in the PAX East, giving gamers the chance to get their hands on the multiplayer session. Although it was only brief,  everything pointed to a similar Mass Effect experience from "Mass Effect 3."

"Mass Effect: Andromeda" Hands-On Experience Impressed The Fans

The "Mass Effect: Andromeda" gameplay remains tight and responsive despite generic options, when gamers reportedly had to play as a pre-made characters and a human soldier. Similar to "Mass Effect 3", the demo was a co-op mode where the players battled against waves of enemies, as every few rounds new goal would pop up, like a data being transferred at specific points.

Interestingly, a twist was noted in "Mass Effect: Andromeda" regarding how players win back health and ammo. According to reports, two dispensers were featured on the map that provide both, although shared with the other four squad members, which means players must wait to refill their supply.

"Mass Effect: Andromeda" was also noted to bring one major change, the player movement. Reports indicate that adding a jetpack enables the players to boost away with ease from the enemies and leap up to higher ledges, including the ability to boost on the ground for sliding down or diving strikes into the cover while shots are being fired, Games Radar reported.
