‘Persona 5’ Rave Reviews Reap Perfect 10 Score Prior April Release; To Outperform ‘Final Fantasy 15’ Says OPM

A "Persona 5" review completely raves about the PS4 exclusive role-playing game with a perfect score of 10/10. Take note that the game is yet to be released in April for PlayStation gamers. Moreover, a number of DLCs are already set to be launched on the platform for the title as well.

OPM Awards Most Accomplished Game To "Persona 5"

The first review of the highly anticipated Atlus game, "Persona 5" has been revealed in the pages of the Official PlayStation Magazine UK. It should be noted that the publication awards the JRPG with a perfect score. The game is also described by OPM as the most accessible, accomplished and precocious modern JRPG to date, PSU reported.

The magazine further notes that "Persona 5" is not only better than its predecessors in the franchise but it may also outperform Square Enix's "Final Fantasy 15." Moreover, OPM scribe Jen Simpkins revealed that JRPG evangelists, series fans and turn-based newcomers may find "Persona 5" as an essential game to play.

The "Persona 5" game is expected to pack expertly put together contents with exquisite graphics down to the last pixel. Simpkins further noted that "Persona 5" is an unabashed masterpiece.

Take note that "Persona 5" was originally scheduled for a fall 2015 release. Apparently, the title has already been delayed numerous times such as in February 2017 which was then pushed to spring. In the meantime, Japanese gamers have been playing "Persona 5" since September 2016 while Western gamers may grab the title on April 4.

Premium Edition Packs A Plush Doll And School Bag In The Loot

In other news, the "Persona 5" storyline is expected to follow the exploits of a silent protagonist who is the leader of the "Phantom Thieves of Hearts." Gamers are tasked to explore Tokyo in Daytime and the Palace Realm After School. In the meantime, the longtime composer Shoji Meguro's soundtracks may still be heard in the game. Several DLCs are also expected to come to the game post-launch.

"Persona 5" fans should note that the game is being offered within three different editions--the Standard, SteelBook and Premium Editions. The first omes with a special DualShock 4 controller skin while the SteelBook Edition packs the physical disk in a steel case with game art.

Finally, "Take Your Heart" Premium Edition, the biggest "Persona 5" of them all, combines the physical copy and SteelBook case with a Morgana plush doll, the game's soundtrack, a hardcover art book and a school bag, Heavy reported.  Watch the game livestream below:
