"Rime" the single-player puzzle adventure game created by Tequila Works is nearing its much awaited launch this year. Although it was announced to be released exclusively for PlayStation 4, not anymore because it has been made to be playable in various platforms, such as Xbox One, PC and on Nintendo Switch.

According to a recent report made by PlayStationStyle, "Rime" tells about the adventures of a young boy who has been shipwrecked after a strong storm. Upon waking up, the boy found himself stranded on the mysterious island. This is where the game starts and the gamers will have to face the many difficulties as they try to discover the island's mysteries.

Additionally, PCAdvisor had announced that the gamer will be the one to manoeuvre the boy's character in the game. The "Rime" adventure includes island exploration along with solving puzzles and activating magical structures that if done will allow the gamer to proceed to a higher level. The game has unique features because it is played in the absence of a dialogue.

Meanwhile, "Rime" boasts of a mixed of famous games like Ico and Zelda games set against the backdrop of colorful environments as reported by Gamesradar. Fans had been asking what has happened to the game for the past two years. There is only one reason and that is because Tequila Works and Sony Entertainment had parted ways.

"Rime" will be released on May 26, 2017 and the game has already been made available to pre-order by Amazon and Game. For continuing updates of the game, fans may stay tuned to Gamenguide.
