One of the main themes this E3, besides surprise celebrity cameos on stage, has been the advent of game streaming. Google held its own Stadia Connect event before the show started, and everyone from Microsoft to Bungie to Ubisoft is getting in on the streaming game as well, either as a provider or participant.
But all of this is shaping up to be mind-bending confusing. Yesterday, Ubisoft debuted Uplay+, it's own $15 a month subscription service for PC that contains access to presumably all its major games. This service also works through Google Stadia, taking it past PC and to wherever Stadia works, which is pretty much any device that runs Chrome. But in this one deal we have:
