All season long Fortnite has been putting out loading screens every week as the reward for completing a full set of challenges. That's nothing new, but what is new is that instead of alternating between battle stars and banners, they're alternating between battle stars and Fortbytes. Here for the week 8 loading screen, we are back to a Fortbyte instead of a battle star.
I am only about 90% sure that the image above is the loading screen for this week because my usual sources seem a bit shaky and I am writing this just before it's gone live. It seems odd because it's a fully formed Peely and a non-bearded Jonesy, which is different than the shake Peely and bunker Jonesy we've usually seen. Maybe he shaved? Maybe Peely resurrected himself? Unclear.
