Watch Dogs Release Date: Game Won't Get Demo as Developers Prepare For May 27 Launch

No Watch Dogs Demo on The Way, Devs Trying To Polish It Up Ahead of May 27 Launch

Looking forward to getting a shot at Watch Dogs before the game comes out on May 27? Well, too bad!

Watch Dogs creative developer Jonathan Morin shot down the idea a couple of days ago via Twitter when a fan asked him (very bluntly and rudely I might add) if there was going to be a demo.

"Dude relax," Morin's tweet read, "I receive too much tweets... They are no demo planned before release. Sorry for the wait, doing my best..."

It kind of sucks that there won't be a demo, but you can't blame the guy and his team quite frankly. They're most focused on getting a quality game out at release, and that takes a heck of a lot of work on a game as big as Watch Dogs will be (especially considering all of the moving parts in the city, plus the robot dragons and all that).

Morin further elaborated yesterday on why there's no demo on the way:

"Doing Demos take time, the focus is on the game," he said. "You will see more footage before release. Be patient & thanks for your passion. :)"

Man, looking through this guy's Twitter feed too, people are maniacs. Show a little respect! Everyone reading this, go follow Jonathan on Twitter and ask him nice, reasonable questions, and don't get mad if he "ignores" you. The dude's busy!
