In Icarus, not only that players will need to gather resources, hunt wild animals for food, fur and leather, and build shelters, and craft for items such as materials, tools and equipment, in order to survive, but they will need to complete Prospect Missions that the online survival game will be given to them in order to progress.
One of the which is the "Solid Metal: Hard Stockpile" Prospect Mission, where players need to gather a needed amount of resources, and transport it to a cargo pod.
How to Clear the Prospect Mission
In order to clear the Prospect Mission, they must first prepare the tools that they need to use.
Aside from the tools that will need for hunting down wild animals such as a bow with its arrows and a knife, they will also need a pickaxe, which they will need in gathering materials like stones, Oxites, and ores, and an axe, which they need to use to gather Wood.
If they unlocked higher Tiers in the game's tech tree, they can also craft said tools using materials such as metal.
They will also need to have the blueprints for the equipment needed in the mission such as the Crafting Bench and the Stone Furnace, or a better one if they unlocked higher tech tree Tiers, in order to smelt metal ores into ingots.
They will also need to craft the parts for their temporary shelter, a bedroll that become a spawn point, several wooden rag torches, a mortar and pestle, and cloth armor.
Once they got all of the tools and equipment needed, they jump in to the drop ship accept the Prospect Mission. Afterwards, according to Game Advisor's YouTube video, the said drop ship will land at an area within the point L12.
From there, they need to find a cave by creating a hole at a mountain wall, which should be the entrance for their mining cave. Once they entered the cave, they will mine the minerals needed for the mission, starting with the Iron Ores, which can be smelted into Iron Ingots.
While mining, they need to be on a look out for cave worms and their poison spit attack, which they need to exterminate. Inside the said cave, they need to set up their temporary shelter, which includes the Furnace and the Crafting Bench, if they want to craft additional arrows, as well as a campfire and the bedroll.
Once they set up everything, they can now start smelting two Iron Ores in the Furnace to create one iron ingot. The mission requires them to produce at least 300 iron ingots.
After they produced the Iron Ingots, they will start mining for Copper Ores, and put least two of them inside the Furnace in order to turn them into Copper Ingots. The mission requires them to produce 200 of the said item.
Next, they need to generate at least 100 Steel Ingots by smelting Steel Blooms in the Furnace. However, unlike the Iron and Copper Ingots, which they need to use Ores, in order to produce a single Steel Bloom, they will they must put either at least six Iron Ore and a piece of Coal or three Iron Ingots and a piece of coal inside the mortar and pestle.
After producing the ingots needed for the prospect mission, they will need to go southwest towards the area in the Forest biome within the point J14.
As they go along the way, they will also need to mine for at least 400 Oxites Ores, which are scattered within the area, as well as they need to hunt wild animals for their meat.
Once they are in the sad area, they will see a Cargo Ship, which they need to drop the 300 Iron Ingots. Then, they will run east towards the Arctic biome, at an area within O14, where the second Cargo Pod is located.
While running towards the said Cargo Pod, they will also need to pick up a total of 200 pieces of Ice, which they will put inside of the said pod along with 200 Copper Ingots.
After placing the mission items inside the Cargo Pod, they can build a temporary shelter with a bedroll and a campfire to take a rest and replenish by cooking and eating the meats that they have collected.
Once they are rested enough, they will run north towards the Desert biome, until they will encounter the third and final Cargo Pod at the area within M4. While traversing there, they need to be careful with the wild animals that are lurking in the area.
When they saw the said Cargo Pod, they will place the remaining 100 Steel Ingots and 400 Oxite Ores inside of it. Afterwards, they will run back to their drop ship to complete the Prospect Mission.
