‘Minecraft’ Streamer TommyInnit Reveals To Be Homeless, Fans Are Shocked

Minecraft Streamer Thomas "TommyInnit" Simons revealed on his Twitch livestream channel that he was homeless after the landlord revealed the gas leakage in the place.

After learning about the gas leak, everyone in the apartment needed to leave. Unfortunately, it was not easy for TommyInnit to find a new place. With that, he was left homeless.

The landlord added he could not come back to his room until next week because of the gas leak. Since livestreaming is his bread and butter, TommyInnit finds ways to continue his activities. He was actually livesteaming in several places, including a public library. According to a post on his Twitter page, he was kicked out because of the commotion he had caused while talking to Ranboo through Discord.

Wilbur Soot, another Minecraft streamer, tried helping Tommy by inviting him to his home. However, according to Dexerto, TommyInnit declined the invitation because he did not like the cold temperature inside.

He added that he could not book a hotel room because of his age, and a four-hour drive back home would not be worth it, especially the fact that his belongings, including his recording equipment, are still inside the locked apartment.

Fans of TommyInnit were shocked at what happened to the streamer after revealing his situation in his Twitch Livestream. Most of them expressed their reactions on Twitter, saying that they could not believe he was homeless.

Others posted well wishes for him on the aforementioned social networking site, while others made a huge meme out of his situation. Even Soot left a hilarious reply to a Tweet regarding the streamer being kicked out from the public library.

A content creator since 2013, TommyInnit garnered more than 11 million subscribers on YouTube and over 7 million followers on Twitch. He also became a Twitch Affiliate in 2019.

Aside from Minecraft, where he had collaborations with other YouTubers and streamers in the Dream SMP, a private survival multiplayer server created by the Dream Team, he also streams PUBG, Fortnite, and Hypixel public parties, including Bed Wars.

However, he has been involved in several controversies during his career. In 2018, he used "Lobby Spamming" to get more viewers on Twitch.

Then, in 2021, he asked for a "shoutout" to KSI by replying to a tweet regarding the late rapper DMX. The said reply received a lot of backlashes before TommyInnit deleted it.
