'Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel' Exodia Deck Guide: What are the Best Decks to Construct

'Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel' Exodia Deck Guide: What are the Best Decks to Construct

In Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel, players have the freedom to construct whatever deck that they deem to be competitive against the online digital card game's metagame.

They can also create those that are centered around old strategies that are still playable even in paper play.

One of them involves "Exodia The Forbidden One," a card that has an alternative win condition that if the controller has all of its other parts in its hand, it will win the duel.

It may sound easy on paper, but since its inclusion in the Trading Card Game's Forbidden and Limited List in 2002, limiting their copies to one, drawing even one of the parts can be a tedious task.

However, with the ever-growing card database that Yu-Gi-Oh! Has, many cards and decks might help players complete all of the five pieces of Exodia.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel is no different in allowing its players to complete a deck that can unleash the power of "Exodia The Forbidden One," especially in Ranked Duels that has best-of-one matches.

Best Exodia Decks in Master Duel

One of the Exodia decks that players can create in Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel involves stalling their enemies while drawing the cards they need until they get all five pieces.

According to Upcomer, this deck uses Number 59: Crooked Cook, a Rank 4 FIRE Warrior Xyz monster with 2300 ATK and 200 DEF.

This card is unaffected by other card effects while they did not control any other cards in the field, while it can destroy as many other cards they control as possible after detaching 1 Xyz Material from this card to gain 300 ATK for each monster destroyed.

To help them Xyz Summon this card quickly, they need cards such as Right-Hand SharkLeft-Hand SharkBuzzsaw SharkBeautunaful Fish, and Astral Kuriboh that can swarm the field.

Piri Reis Map can also be added as it can search monsters Beautunaful Fish with 0 ATK.

Another advantage of adding Right-Hand SharkLeft-Hand Shark, and Astral Kuriboh to the deck is because of their abilities once they are attached to Number 59: Crooked Cook.

The former can make the card indestructible by battle while the latter can unaffected by card effects, and Astral Kuriboh can do both.

For draw power, they can add in Maxx "C," a powerful hand trap in the game that lets the controller draw a card if an opponent Special Summons a monster, and Pot of Prosperity, a spell card that adds a card after banishing cards from their Extra Deck.

They can also add Swift Scarecrow for battle protection, Ash Blossom & Joyous SpringPsy-Frame Gamma and Psy-Frame Driver for effect negation, and Raigeki and Evenly Matched for wiping cards on the opponent's field.

They can also add other cards in their Extra Deck either for strategic purposes or for Pot of Prosperity's cost.

Another Exodia deck that they can try involves cards that can maximize its drawing power.

According to Try Hard GuidesTrade-In is a good addition to the deck as it can discard a Level 8 Dragon-type Monster from the controller's hand to draw.

A good target for the Spell Card is Blue-Eyes White Dragon, a card that they have easy access to if they choose the Power of the Dragon Starter Deck. A good way to bring this card to their hands is using the effect of The White Stone of Legend.

Another card that can be helpful for this deck is Royal Magical Library, a Level 4 LIGHT Spellcaster Monster with 2000 DEF.

This card can let its controller draw a card if they remove three Spell Counters from this card. Considering that the deck has lots of Spell Cards, obtaining Spell Counters for this card's effect should be easy.

They can also add in Magicians' SoulsUpstart GoblinOne Day of PeaceChicken Game, Triple Tactics Talent to further increase the deck's draw power.

Finally, Golden Bamboo Sword can also help them draw the cards they need as long as Broken Bamboo Sword and Cursed Bamboo Sword are on the field.

According to TCGPlayer, they can also add in other cards that can let them draw from their decks, such as Cards of Consonance and Dark World Dealings.
