'Horizon Forbidden West' Gets The LEGO Treatment With Tallneck, Aloy Figures

'Horizon Forbidden West' Is Getting An Official LEGO Set Featuring A Tallneck And Aloy

"Horizon Forbidden West" is getting an official LEGO set featuring a Tallneck and an Aloy minifig.

According to GamesRadar, the LEGO set will launch on May 22nd for a retail price of $79.99. It features one of the franchise's most recognizable machines, which looks like some sort of a robot giraffe.

All in all, the set will consist of a total of 1,222 pieces. You'd easily spend close to a day just building the entire diorama. For now, the set is available for pre-order.

Before this news, the LEGO set was actually posted back in December 2021 by the German retailer Wagner's, before getting taken down from the website, writes GeekCulture. Aside from the Tallneck and Aloy minifig, the set will also feature a few other smaller machines-there looks to be one Watcher in there-alongside several plants that prominently feature in Guerilla's open-world series.

Aside from all these details, however, it wasn't mentioned just how big the tallneck would be. But based on how big (or small) a minifig is, it looks like the Tallneck figure will be around 13 inches tall.

The official "Horizon Forbidden West" LEGO set is the latest video game line from the beloved plastic brick maker. It joins the likes of Super Mario and Sonic the Hedgehog sets, which were recently released, including an entire blocky recreation of a Nintendo Entertainment System (ESL), complete with a TV set (via LEGO.com).

Guerilla Games has seemingly created just another masterpiece, with "Forbidden West" already performing exceptionally well in early reviews. It looks to be among the best games of the current generation, as reviewers are all praises for both the PS5 and PS4 versions of the latest Sony exclusive.

"Forbidden West" is scheduled to launch globally on Feb. 18. If you look to play it soon but haven't played the original "Horizon Zero Dawn" yet (and you can't for some reason), you can check out our "Zero Dawn" story recap. It's a bit of a lengthy read thanks to the game's rich lore, so prepare yourself.

Everything You Need To Know Ahead Of 'Horizon Forbidden West's' Launch

The game is one of the most hotly anticipated titles from Sony's preeminent first-party studio, and rightfully so. It is expected to build up from the massive success of "Zero Dawn." So ahead of its official release, here's everything you need to know.

"Forbidden West" makes sure to bring back some beloved old characters, as well as introduce new ones. Ashly Burch reprises her role as Aloy, but she is joined by a veritable cast headlined by "Matrix" star Carrie-Anne Moss, writes GameInformer. She plays a new character named Tilda, who looks to be the only person in the game who looks futuristic in her design.

Next up, the game will take players into a completely new area, the Forbidden West, basically California. It seems to be that Aloy will spend a lot of time exploring the dilapidated ruins of San Francisco, meeting even more new characters and deadlier machines along the way.

Lastly, you won't even need to get a PS5 to enjoy Guerilla Games' newest open-world romp fully. Various reports have revealed that even on the now nine-year-old base PS4, the game still looks absolutely breathtaking and runs like a dream as well.
