In Lost Ark, players can collect special currencies in exchange for items that they can use in the online multiplayer role-playing game.
Aside from the Mokoko Coins, they can also collect Pirate Coins that they can use to trade items with any merchant ship that they find in the game.
There are many ways to obtain this special currency in Lost Ark. One of the ways is defeating the Nightmare Ghost Ships that are scattered around Arkesia.
How to Find Them
To find the Nightmare Ghost Ships in Lost Arc, look for the ship icon appearing in the waters of their in-game map.

Once they locate the ship, they need to use any ship to travel towards them, but according to Techbriefly, the Eibern's Wound is the best ship they can ride on to defeat the Nightmare Ghost Ships.
This ship has a base sailing speed of 18.3 Knots and has a +3 Immunity on Kelp Beds, Sandstorm Seas, and Siren Seas. It also has a +11 Immunity on Cold Snap Seas, +6 on Tempest Seas, and +14 on Dead Waters.
Players can get the ship by buying its blueprint at either the Plumpcrab or Spearfish Fishing Guild Vessels that, according to LostArkCodex.com, are located in Luterra, Anikka, Arthetine, North Vern, and Shushire.
Once the blueprint has been obtained, unlock the Eibern's Wound ship in the game.
They can also obtain the ship by clearing one of Una's tasks to them, the "Desolate Nightmist" quest.
They will also need to recruit crew members that have the Fighter: Ghost Ship special ability.
To recruit them, pay amounts of Pirate Coins that will be obtained in this matter to merchant ships.
Once getting everything, set sail towards the location of the Nightmare Ghost Ship and destroy it by defeating the Undead crew inside.
Each Nightmare Ghost Ship location has a number of Pirate Coins that they can obtain after destroying it.
The ghost ships located at the Freedom Isle, which is in the western part of Anikka, and at the Lullaby Island, which is in the southeastern part of Tortoyk, can generate up to 16,500 and 15,000 Pirate Coins, respectively.
Once they have cleared the place and destroyed the ghost ship, according to Gamertweak, they need to leave the shipwreck behind by pressing the F2 key or clicking the Adventure tab, then selecting the Song of Escape on the Sheet Music menu.
The song can be obtained, according to Sportskeeda, by progressing through Lost Ark's main story questline, including clearing the "Legends and Fairytales" quest.
What They can Buy with the Pirate Coins
Once you have enough Pirate Coins, trade them with any available items at any merchant ship that they can find in Lost Ark.
They can use them to buy Crew Application Forms, Destruction and Guardian Stone Fragments, Epic Rapport Chests, Sail Glyphs, accessories, Engraving Recipes Chests, and Stones of Birth.
