Activision Blizzard Games are a dime a dozen, and you already know which ones are the most popular: "Call Of Duty," "World Of Warcraft," and "Diablo" among them. But the long-established developer/publisher also has other previously popular IPs which haven't seen the light of day for years-decades, even.

Here are some of the best Activision Blizzard games which Microsoft and Xbox could bring back for the foreseeable future. If the massive $68.7 billion deal pushes through, that is.
'Guitar Hero'
This franchise's last game, "Guitar Hero Live," was released way back in 2015 and hadn't had a mainline launch since, according to Tech Times. Back then, "Live" wasn't even a well-received game because of how it deviated from the series' 3D-animated, cartoonish visual style that many players loved over the years. As such, the series didn't end on good terms.
If Microsoft and Xbox do bring the "Guitar Hero" franchise back, fans will want a "return to form" for it. That is, no recorded videos of crowds, no actual recorded gigs played by real people on screen: just the over-the-top, classic visuals that make you feel like a real guitar god-even if you're holding a plastic guitar with no strings.
'Spyro'
There was a time when Spyro the Dragon was a PlayStation staple. But that time is long gone with the Microsoft-Activision Blizzard merger. The last release of the series was the remastered package called "Spyro Reignited Trilogy" back in 2018-but the truly final game in the franchise was 2005's "Spyro: Shadow Legacy" for the Nintendo DS, writes Looper.
Now that developer Toys For Bob is going to be under the Microsoft banner. The "Spyro" franchise could see a return on the modern console generation, considering it's still in its early stages. The "Reignited Trilogy" has already been launched on Windows as well, so the former PlayStation exclusive can be an Xbox exclusive soon enough.

'Crash Bandicoot'
Yet another former PlayStation exclusive (basically a PlayStation mascot during the 90s), "Crash Bandicoot," could very well see another major launch on modern consoles as a potential Xbox exclusive.
According to Fandom Wire, there's a good possibility that Microsoft could pull a "Ratchet & Clank" and release a next-gen only game for the Xbox Series X and Series S, mainly because people might want a break from all the doom and gloom (not to mention heaps of stress) that franchises like "Call Of Duty" have been giving its players over the years.
'Prototype'
PlayStation is well-known these days for the open-world superhero game genre, with the massive success of the two "Spider-Man" games for the PS4 and PS5. However, the "Prototype" series is arguably the predecessor of such a genre, according to Looper.
To have an idea of what the game is, just think of the "inFamous" games but with far more murder. But while the "Prototype" games can't really compete with that (much more with Insomniac's award-winners), a full, next-gen only remake could revive the franchise and allow developers to play around even more with their ideas due to the power of the new hardware.
