[GUIDE] ‘Counter-Strike: Global Offensive’ ESL Pro League Season 15: Participating Teams, Format, Schedule– Here’s What You Need To Know

ESL Pro League Season 15 is now set to happen. It will be the second Counter-Strike tournament happening this year of 2022. The first tournament was IEM Katowice 2022 was held last February.

The tournament will be on an offline setup. It is like what Gamers Galaxy "Dota 2" Invitational showed on the first week of March.

According to their official website, 23 teams will be participating in fighting for the $850 thousand prize money.

As per AFK Gaming, the tournament was supposed to be held in Malta for the live audience but was moved to Düsseldorf in Germany. It was planned to be produced in a month-long stream of games.

Participating Teams

The teams that will partake in the 15th season of ESL Pro League will be coming from all over the world. Below are the complete teams that will participate in the group stage of the tournament only:

Format

Group Stage

The Group stage will have four single round-robin format groups.

Group A consists of Ninjas in Pyjamas, G2 Esports, Entropiq, Mouz, LookingForOrg, and Fnatic; Group B, moreover, will have Ence, FaZe Clan, FURIA Esports, Outsiders, Sprout, and Team Vitality; Group C will have BIG, Godsent, Movistar Riders, Party Astronauts, and Team Liquid; Group D will be having X-Kom Ago, Astralis, Complexity, Evil Geniuses, Heroic, and Natus Vincere.

The groups consist of six constituents. Each team will face the other five teams in a group once. Each match will be a best-of-three one.

The top seeds of each group will immediately be included in the Quarter Finals. Furthermore, each group's leaderboard's second and third place will advance to Round 12 (who wins will be qualified to the Quarter Finals).

Playoffs Stage

Twenty-three teams fight each other in the group stage, but only twelve of them will remain in the tournament. The other twelve will be eliminated just live any other tournament going into the playoffs.

Once the spots are filled onto the playoffs, it will commence in a single bracket elimination. All matches will be happening in a best-of-three match. The grand finals will be a best-of-five.

Schedule

Specific team versus team schedules can be viewed on ESL Pro League's official website. The conference stage was held last November 23-28, 2021. The group stage is currently happening to start from March 9 and April 3. The playoffs stage will kick its start on April 5-10.

The stream of the games can be watched in different languages. It will be broadcasted in English, Russian, Serbian, Slovenian, French, Vietnamese. The streaming of the games can be watched through Twitch and any other platform given by the tournament administrator itself. Each medium corresponds to each language.
