Ultra Street Fighter 4 Headed to PAX East, Will Be Playable

Looking to try Rolento, Hugo, Poison, or Elena before Ultra Street Fighter IV drops? Head over to beantown next weekend then, because that's where you'll be able to do so.

According to Destructoid, the Machinima booth will have Ultra playable at its booth when PAX East starts on April 11.

Ultra will arrive with a host of tweaks and balance adjustments, but the biggest change will be the addition of five characters. Four are Capcom favorites who've appeared in quite a few games before.
HugoRolento, and the gender bending Poison all made their debut in the arcade classic beat 'em up Final Fight. Rolento would cross over into the Street Fighter world alongside fellow Final Fight alumni Sodom, Cody, and Guy in the Alpha series, and Hugo and Elena would appear in Street Fighter III. In Ultra, they'll all be joined by newcomer Decapre, a Shadowloo Doll along the lines of Cammy, Juni, and Juli. More info on each fighter at their respective links.

Ultra Street Fighter IV will release in two forms, with the player picking whichever they like:

1. As a $15 DLC upgrade - choose this route if you already have a copy of Street Fighter 4. With the price breakdown, it means you get each new character at $3 each.
2. As an all-new physical release, on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Besides the new characters, players will also get six new stages, all of which featured in Street Fighter X Tekken: Cosmic Elevator, Mad Gear Hideout, Jurassic Era Research Facility, Blast Furnace, and Pitstop 109.

Capcom announced that players could expect the game this Spring.
