Can you beat "Elden Ring" without attacking any bosses? How about not taking any damage?

These are the exact questions that Youtuber Iron Pineapple and Twitch streamer Seki asked themselves before successfully pulling off what just might be the game's no-attack and no-damage runs, respectively. They both surprised viewers on Youtube and Twitch as they explained how they defeated the game with such mind-blowing stunts.

No-attack and no-damage runs would have been impossible in prior RPGs by FromSoftware, such as "Dark Souls" or "Bloodborne." However, both players took advantage of "Elden Ring's" wide variety of tools and abilities, along with its vast open-ended world design, to make such feats possible.

YouTube Beats 'Elden Ring' Without Attacking

So how does one exactly beat Elden Ring without ever attacking? Through mere use of tools like spirit summons, extensive use of Faith-based healing and buffs, as well as hours of practice, Iron Pineapple managed to beat every boss, including the powerful and tricky Elden Beast.

This might sound quite straightforward, but the video that he uploaded on YouTube shows how he struggled through many encounters, according to the article by PC Gamer. He also had to be very creative with rotating his spirits and summons and with how he used his buffs and spells. The whole run was intense and nerve-wracking but pretty impressive.

This run might just be the world's first no-attack run on "Elden Ring," a fact that Iron Pineapple was shy about. "I'm not really the type to make celebration videos, so I just wanted to leave a comment here acknowledging the insanity of this channel reaching one million subscribers since the last video," Iron Pineapple said after posting the video.

The YouTuber has also expressed his appreciation to everyone who has watched and subscribed to his videos. He likewise said that he hopes that he can continue creating content that are both entertaining and worth the time of his viewers.

Twitch Streamer Beats 'Elden Ring' Without Taking  Damage

On April 1, Twitch streamer Seki pulled off the world's first recorded no-hit/no-damage run of "Elden Ring." In a stream that lasted under three hours, Seki amazed viewers as they saw him go through each boss without his health bar ever going down.

"No-Hit/No Damage is harder than a regular no-hit run as the player cannot take [any] environmental damage such as fall damage/poison etc," Seki explained in an article published in Kotaku.

"This adds difficulty to the run as I don't have access to buffs such as Red-Feathered Branchsword which could potentially increase my damage output if I had low health," he adds.

A no-hit/no-damage run means Seki has to avoid all types of damage throughout the entire run. This includes getting damage from accidentally falling or getting poisoned in the swamps.

Sexi explains that he used a dexterity/intelligence build as well as the Moonveil katana as his main weapon. He also used a spell called Rock Sling to help clear out mobs in certain areas of the game.

How on earth does one begin to even finish a pacifist run or a no-hit/no-damage run of "Elden Ring?" With extensive planning, practicing, and doing many, many attempts - at least 130 hours of them, according to Seki.
