Learn more about the upcoming "Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel" Synchro Festival Event.

Gamepur reported that the "Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel Synchro event will feature special mechanics in the form of allowing players to collect Medals after a duel.

In every match you partake in, you can receive these awards. Of course, you can still receive them even if you lose, but you will reap more Medals if you win your matches.

For each victory, 500 Medals will be coming to you, but only 50 Medals will be sent if you fail to secure a win. You will enjoy these massive awards, given that you create your own "Yu-Gi-Oh" deck.

If you're planning to lend a loaner deck from Konami, the number of Medals will be trimmed down so think twice before doing this move.

The 2022 theme for this event is Synchro so you could only utilize Synchro Cards. You can now ditch other decks other than that.

Additionally, Darklord Nurse Reficule and Eldlich the Golden Lord are some of the banned cards that you need to take note of.

Popular Decks to Watch Out

As the meta evolves, players are learning how to slowly adapt to it. As such, the "Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel" Synchro Festival could see many loaner decks. Apart from that, you should know that Virtual World and Clear Wings will be the hottest picks for the event.

Clear Wings features an interesting batch of cards which include the Crystal Clear Wing Synchro Dragon and more. It was only added during the most recent update in the game.

On the other hand, Virtual World can go well with Monster Virtual World Kyubi - Shenshen and Ravenous Crocodragon Archethys to name a few.

Potentially, other unexpected decks might come out in the limelight including Blue-Eyes, Speedroids, and Junk.

The "Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel" Synchro Festival event will run next Thursday, Apr. 21.

Last month, the game managed to surpass 20 million downloads, per Nintendo Life.
