Alleged Gameplay Of Halo Infinite Forge Mode Leaks Online

Halo Infinite Forge Mode Gameplay Leaks Out

Halo Infinite's Forge mode is still nowhere to be found, even if campaign co-op has been given an update recently. But perhaps no update is needed with this leak - if it turns out to be accurate, that is.

GameRant reports that an alleged gameplay video of Halo Infinite Forge has been leaked online, and it comes in two parts: creating new weapon abilities and gun combinations based on what you want. The two-part leak was posted by Rebs Gaming on Twitter, and both videos have gotten fans talking:

In the first video, Halo 5's infamous weapon combining glitch is back in Infinite "as a feature." The video also says that this time, the "feature" is scriptable and could lead to interesting weapon combinations. Among these combos include the Skewer and Battle rifle, the Skewer and the Raveger, the Disrupter and the Plasma Pistol, and the Heatwave and Hydra, to name several. Aside from that, there also looks to be a prototype gravity gun - though how it works is never really explained.

Either way, the combinations look awesome and would allow for far more varied gunplay in Halo Infinite. And all this stems from the creative potential that Forge mode will give players, despite the fact that there's still no clear release date for it. Combine this with new, creative game modes, and Halo Infinite's multiplayer would be revitalized after being called "dead" by numerous people.

In a separate article by GameRant back in March, they talked about how the free-to-play multiplayer's live service model hasn't worked well enough to keep players satisfied. Developer 343 Industries wasn't able to provide big updates more often, with new, major content only ever coming once or twice a month.

As a result, the game has actually been losing players, Twitch viewers, and has taken the brunt of negative press from the Halo TV show - even if the series actually was Paramount+'s most-watched series debut ever.

Halo Infinite is out now for the Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, and PC.

Where In The World Is Halo Infinite Forge?

The answer to this question has been elusive so far. This is even more painful for long-time series fans considering that campaign co-op is now slated for August. But 343 Industries has a fairly simple explanation for it - something they already mentioned back in early March.

As reported by VideoGamesChronicle, the development team mentioned how Forge mode still needs more polish before it is finally ready. This then prompted them to say that considering the amount of work yet to be done, Halo Infinite's Forge could come out by the time Season 3 rolls around. As of this writing, Infinite is deep into Season 2, titled Lone Wolves.

Season 3 still doesn't have a date, but there could be clues as to when it will come. Season 1 was extended and have lasted over six months already by the time the next one arrived. From this, one could infer that Season 3 might not arrive until close to the end of 2022, which is mere months from now but still a long way away.
