Earlier this year, it has been announced that Xbox Game Pass (specifically Xbox Cloud Gaming) will be coming to select Samsung smart TVs. This allows Game Pass Ultimate subscribers to be able to play the latest games even without an actual console or PC. And now, the app is already out.

If you're subscribed to Game Pass Ultimate and want to try this feature firsthand, here's what you need to do, as reported by DualShockers:
- Go to your Samsung TV's Gaming Hub and find the Xbox App. If your TV doesn't have Gaming Hub, visit the Samsung App Store and download the Xbox App from it.
- Install the Xbox App.
- Log in to Game Pass Ultimate.
- Play!
Et voila! That's pretty much it. As soon as you log in to your Ultimate subscription via the Xbox App on your TV, you get access to over 100 games that you can stream to your device via the cloud. No console required, all you need is a controller and a stable internet connection.
This is a big thing, considering how many gamers out there still can't get their hands on a console - though if you have money to get a Samsung smart TV, you probably have the funds to get one. But we digress.
Game Pass On Samsung TVs: Confirmed Models With Xbox Integration
This all sounds well and good, but you have to remember: only Samsung smart TV models released in 2022 will have access to Xbox Cloud Gaming services. But which ones, exactly?
Here are a few 2022 Samsung smart TV models that have been confirmed to get Xbox integration to get you started:
- Neo QLED 8K QN900B (65, 75, and 85-inch models)
- Neo QLED 8K QN800B (65, 75, and 85-inch models)
- Neo QLED 4K QN95B (55 and 85-inch models)
- OLED 4K S95B (55 and 65-inch models)
- The Frame QLED 4K (55, 65, 75, and 85-inch models)

Internet Speed And Controller Requirements
Since this integration relies on Xbox Cloud Gaming, here's just how much internet you'll actually need to reliably stream all those games - alongside what controller/s could work.
- 5GHz Wi-Fi or mobile data connection, with at least a 20Mbps download speed. Anything below and the latency/quality will be significantly degraded.
- Controller support is limited to Official Xbox controllers (directly manufactured by Microsoft), Designed For Xbox controllers (Xbox-branded partner devices), and Verified controllers (non-Microsoft hardware that has been verified for cloud gaming). To make things simpler, just get a legitimate wireless Xbox controller from a reputable retailer.
Which Regions?
Xbox Cloud Gaming is still technically in beta, but it is already available in a total of 28 countries, most of them in Europe and North America. Check the official list of supported regions on Xbox.com if you want to see it in full, but major markets such as the UK, United States, Germany, Brazil, France, and Australia already havve access to cloud gaming via Game Pass Ultimate, among others. There's also a separate region list for cloud gaming, but it only allows access to Fortnite.
