'Mobile Legends' 2022 Vexana Review! The New Version May Disappoint You—Here's Why

Vexana's rework is already available on the main servers of "Mobile Legends." Because it offers an entire champion kit change, players were really excited about its arrival.

However, after many leakers shared how Vexana works in the Public Beta Environment (PBE), many fans were somehow disappointed.

All her skills are actually good. However, the issue with Vexana is her new ultimate, which is completely different from the original version.

Before we review the new version of Vexana, let's take a look at her original skills.

Vexana: A Look Back at Her Original Version

The original Vexana is one of the favorite magic-based heroes of "Mobile Legends" fans. Thanks to her ultimate, gamers can just target an enemy hero with her last skill and use the flame shot.

After that, they need to wait a few seconds until the poison clears the health bar of Vexana's enemies, as explained by the Future Game Releases. 

Once the hero dies from her ultimate, Vexana can control a copy of that hero, making their team a six-man team. If your teammates didn't pick a marksman or a tank hero, you can just use Vexana's ult against the enemy team's AD, tank, and even assassin to fill the gap.

What makes Vexana's original ultimate interesting is that you can actually control the illusion by clicking the ultimate again. You can either put it on the defensive or offensive mode by tapping on the additional button located near your ultimate.

The New Vexana 

The latest version of Vexana still has her passive (dealing magic damage when the previously attacked minion or champion explodes). 

Thanks to this, her first and second skills are still very useful. The new Deathly Grasp works just like before, but it now scares nearby enemy creeps or characters once it explodes.

According to PlayerOne, the Cursed Blast (second skill), now has a few seconds delay. But, it is still quite efficient when dealy magic damage. 

Meanwhile, the latest ultimate called Eternal Guard is very different from the previous Cursed Oath. Instead of continuously dealing magic damage and creating a copy of the targeted hero, Vexana now summons an Undead Knight. 

Once she sends this unit to the location of enemy heroes, it will deal 500-700 magic damage, as well as knock them into the air. 

The issue with Eternal Guard is that its basic attacks are somehow weak. On the other hand, Vexana also can't control it. It will only appear on the location of Vexana for 15 seconds and then disappear. 

Since the new Eternal Guard is not really efficient in team fights, many players are somehow disappointed. They said that the Undead Knight's airborne effect and first damage are the only things useful. 

After that, the walking Undead Knight seems to be useless.
