This particular guide will help you improve your aim and be a sharpshooter in Valorant' easily.

Valorant, just like other shooter games, requires a lot of concentration especially when you are aiming to slay an opponent. One of the most difficult problems that beginners commonly face is how to properly aim at the enemy.

Don't worry about that since continuous practice will pave the way for your improvement. Here's how to improve your aiming skills in Valorant.

Here's how to improve your aiming skills in Valorant especially if you are just getting started in the game.

It's no wonder how Valorant quickly rose to the esports scene despite the emergence of other popular first-person shooting games.

If you have played Call of Duty, Rainbow Six Siege, or Paladins, you would already get the feel of playing it. Your agents have special abilities that you can use to your advantage to defeat the other agents from the opposing team.

Valorant excels a lot in allowing players to boost their skills to the highest possible level. If you want to win more matches, you need to have a sharper and better aim to edge your competitors.

You need to be consistent in practicing your aim regularly. Still, your progress in this training will vary from other players.

Placing Crosshair at a Head Level

Valorant newbies should first know how to place their crosshairs properly. When approaching an enemy, you should put it at head level for a more accurate aim.

You need to be alert at all times when aiming at an intruder hiding behind the box. If you're too slow to respond, chances are you will be shot easily since you can't act in a split second.

It's all about muscle memory and you need to continuously practice the crosshair placement every other second.

Choosing a Weapon

It's not advisable to immediately play ranked games as a beginner. You can play more casual games before diving into a more competitive (and stressful) mode in Valorant.

You can start by choosing any of the two weapons: Phantom and Vandal. It depends on your playstyle and to be consistent, you need to use your preferred weapon multiple times until you master it.

Recoil Knowledge

Oftentimes, many players struggle to know what recoil really means in fps games. For those unfamiliar, this term refers to the backward momentum of a gun when you shoot it.

For instance, some of the bullets of your weapon will surely hit the target. The next few bullets will slightly change direction so pay attention to this.

Make sure to aim the enemy on their head for your first few bullets. A recoil could either give you an advantage or disadvantage depending on how you use it.

Aggression is the Key

Always be aggressive when hitting your opponents. Don't give them any chance to fire shots, but play smart. Valorant has tricky maps that might confuse you, but don't let them daze you entirely.

Continue becoming an aggressor and know when to strike back when they are all around you.

Seek a Coach's Help

If you want to be a good shooter in Valorant, you need to invest in a good coaching plan. You can seek help from a coach who's well-versed in the game.

He/she will teach you about the ideal weapons that you need to use and also the appropriate settings for your playstyle. A mentor can teach you all this stuff overnight, but learning is still a long process for a student.

If you are still a new Valorant player, this guide will help you avoid mistakes during ranked games.
