Star Wars: The Old Republic News - New Level 55 Flashpoints and Two New Characters Come Courtesy of Invasion Update, Now Live [PICTURES]
Be honest with yourself, there's only so much decorating you can done before you got bored. So when you're all done playing interior designer, I'd suggest trying out the new content that's available for Star Wars: The Old Republic as of right now.
Update 2.7: Invasions is now live for the MMO, and adds two new Level 55 Flashpoints, and begins a three-part series for two new characters, Theron Shan and Lana Beniko. But that's far from the complete list of additions. Check below for more details:
* New story arc, "Forged Alliances" - described by BioWare as "one of the longest, most epic tales we've ever told! Jump into two new Flashpoints on Tython and Korriban where the galactic conflict between the Empire and the Republic takes center stage." It's in this arc that the new level 55 Tactical Flashpoints take place, Assault on Tython and Korriban Incursion. "The three part story will continue to be expanded throughout the year culminating in an incredible finale."
* Huttbal PvP Warzone on Quesh - a vertical layout means you and your team will need to work together to climb up structures instead of across a field to score points.
* New Galactic Starfighter's Battle Zone, Denon Exosphere - Dodge enormous capital ships and fend off enemy attacks in 12v12 space dogfights for control of Denon. This map features two permanent spawn points for each team, adding more strategic spawning and attack possibilities.
* Nightmare Mode Operation: The Dread Fortress - designed for true suckers for punishement, players square off against the five bosses, now more dreadful than ever. Includes the new "Nightmare Power" feature, as well a new tier of gear rewards.
Apart from the new content, Update 2.7 also has the usual array of bug fixes, as well as Bolster improvements, new Cartel Market offerings, Item Ratings tooltips, craftable Dreadforged Gear, new 'Berserker' tier of Ranked PvP gear, Warzone improvements, separated Hard and Nightmare mode lockouts, and more.
