PH Mobile Legends players' exodus brings more talents to SEA counterparts.

In a recent video posted on their Youtube Channel, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang pro team Onic Esports finally unveils their roster for the upcoming Mobile Legends Professional League Indonesia (MPL ID), featuring fresh recruits from the Philippines, Kairi, and Coach Yeb.

Filipino talents Kairi "Kairi" Ygnacio Rayosdelsol and Paul "Yeb" Denver Lintag Miranda have already confirmed rumors of their transfer to the Indonesian counterparts of Onic Esports early last July.

Kairi, Coach Yeb Joins Indonesian Powerhouse Onic ID

In a report from AFK Gaming, the acquisition was revealed during a media press conference where the rumors regarding Yeb and Kairi joining an Indonesian team were finally confirmed. The two players shall be looking to fortify ONIC Esports' lineup for the upcoming MPL ID Season 10.

The gaming news platform also noted that the Indonesian squad had won several championship titles over the course of its careers, such as the Mobile Legends Southeast Asia Cup (MSC) 2019, MPL ID Season 3, and Season 8. However, the team only secured second place in Season 9 after receiving a 0-4 clean sweep defeat from RRQ Hoshi in the grand finals. The addition of the two PH ace ML personalities boosts their chance to grab future titles.

Yeb spoke with ONE Esports during the ONIC Esports press conference when they unveiled their squad for the upcoming season. The 16-year-old jungler claims that without his coach, he would not have been permitted to play abroad.

Kairi showed an incredible outing in Onic PH's run for the M3 World Championships last year, but they were outplayed by a fellow Filipino team Blacklist International which held them to a second-place finish in the world championships.

Kairi and Coach Yeb had led their previous team to many second-place finishes in the Philippines Mobile Legends professional league. They finished second in Seasons 4, 5, and 8 of the said competition. With the team grabbing the 4th spot in last year's MPL PH, Onic PH decided to let go of its core players.

PH ML Players Exodus Boosts SEA Competition

The addition of these Filipino talents can be a powerful force in bringing the Indonesian teams to more championships. In the past few years, the Philippines alone has been a dominant force in the international Mobile Legends scene. Fans are mentioning something called the 'Filipino meta' that makes Filipino teams do better in facing other opponents.

The coming MPL Season 9 will be a nail-biter for many Mobile Legends fans out there as Blacklist International PH also announced the comeback of its star duo Johnmar "OhMyV33nus" Villaluna and Danerie James "Wise" Del Rosario after taking a break last season. With this, the famous 'UBE strategy' of the team is again at full force and can once again bring a chip to the Philippines.

Meanwhile, other Filipino Mobile Legends pro-players join other esports groups overseas as the new season approach. Last year's Myanmar Mobile Legends professional league champion Team SMG announces the addition of Hate, former Onic PH midlaner.

Indonesian team Bigetron Alpha is also the latest to adopt a Filipino talent. Last Sunday, Onic ace place Markyyyyy has already announced his transfer to the Indonesian powerhouse team.

This exodus of PH Mobile Legends pros can be a sight to behold in this year's South East Asia and international competitions. Fans can most certainly expect a lot of drama once the involved teams make it out to battle in the advanced tournaments.
